hello, out there has anybody played gran turismo 5? if so how good is it with all of its thousand cars

I remember playing Gran Turismo 1 and 2 with my dad on the PS1. I had no idea what I was doing, but I still fucking loved it. I've not played the others though. I just wish it would release on Xbox 360 or PC. There's no way in hell I'd buy a PS3. So for now I'm sticking with my beloved Forza 4.

I have played GT 1, 2, 3 A-Spec, 4, the PSP version, and the "concept" (for PS2).
Really good series of games.
As got GT 5, I don't have a PS3 so I have never played it.
I have heard it's pretty good, there are "premium" cars that have very realistic damage, and the rest don't.

i've never played any of them i just play f1 2011 and dirt 3
