1] Theme Changer (When You Want To Change Of Skin You Don't Need To Re-Overwirte The Current) 2] Icecast and Last.fm Support So You Can Play It. Thats All I Think.
That seems great! Good Idea!

I'm reading, ok
Well, the last.fm, tbh it looks like flash all the way. I had a quick look, at their API and... it sends you to the flash page for music, so ummm not sure about that one yet.
As for the skins, let me first finish the one I'm making now, it is very good, then we will see. I'm making lots of changes, so I won't update the existing player any more, but instead there will be new release with different files to download and the new skin as a default rather than skinless as before.
I've already gotten too far to turn back, so be patient, haha!

Glad people are liking it :). It is much more then just a skin. My son and I are working on it on rainy days. We are about 70% done. To share it must be completly done first. This mod very is feature rich with stuff from the best portals around with our enhancements, reworked graphics and other additions. And a reworked dvorak keyboard(KB+). The iView is a web cam viewer. Here are a few more screenies... KB+: keyboard + photo viewer + flash player www.sendspace.com/file/ms3fyy www.sendspace.com/file/xilgiu www.sendspace.com/file/6z3p22 iOffice: Originally from ifind portal. www.sendspace.com/file/jna1ab iView: This need the most work.Needs lots more cams. www.sendspace.com/file/eeuo77 www.sendspace.com/file/83ggxz www.sendspace.com/file/mahqrd If anyone has some favorite cool webcams from there country, wildlife cams or from space(must be .jpeg or .gif image cams)please share and i'll add them to the iView.

Mmmm nice! A word of warning though, the images eat a lot of RAM, this is why I limited the skin to just 2 images. Also, opening stuff in new tabs is as bad on the memory. And although PSP Slim has more memory, a lot of people still use the old PSP, it'd be nice if this would work in all of them

Glad to see you still have intrest Steve123458. Sorry about it taking sooooo long. But it will still be a while before it is released for a few to test(before full release).Work,a big garden, being sound man for a band and life in general takes up most of my time lately. In our free time we've done ALOT to it.Took a week to tidy up the file structure(boring ),and deal with some memory issues. Much improvements and many GREAT features added. Trust me it will be well worth the wait . Heres a rundown on the status: Radio side = DONE KB+ = 85% done (need to work on flash graphics) iOffice = 99% done(just 1 icon to fix in PS) iGames = DONE iLinks = DONE (some really cool stuff in here ) iView = 50% done (still need MANY MANY more cams) Every thing that we wanted to add for features = DONE Heres a new screenie: www.sendspace.com/file/q5w199 And one of a cool feature: www.sendspace.com/file/q7g8u1
So with this project (unfortunately) patience is a must. It WILL be worth it. Any questions just ask.

Is in 480 × 272 pixels. If you want it please tell. Oh,and you gonna to make so it can be downloaded with a PSP directly?(sadly,i don't have a PC ) And one more thing, are you making it so it can be launched with the same internet radio icon or it come with a new one? Is in 480 × 272 pixels. If you want it please tell. Steve123458 iVew is a webcam viewer with really cool features. What I need is addresses for webcams that are from National Parks in your country, just really cool webcams or wildlife webcams. They must send still images that are refreshed in certain intervals. Here is an example: 207.251.86.248/cctv23.jpg It is a traffic cam in New York city, it refreshes every few seconds. If you refresh it in your browser you will notice that the cars move. Thats the type of Webcams I need (but much more interesting ones with better quality). Heres an e-mail to send webcam links, that pic you have(it would be cool to check it out.) or anything about this mod to: radiomodpsp@gmail.com
Oh,and you gonna to make so it can be downloaded with a PSP directly?(sadly,i don't have a PC ) And one more thing, are you making it so it can be launched with the same internet radio icon or it come with a new one? It will not be downloaded like KK does it. It will be in a .rar file hosted on sendspace or simaler service.BUT all the core radio player files can be hosted individually and downloaded right to the COMMON folder.UNLESS you know of a site that can host folders? That the PSP browser will support. Yes it will use the same radio icon to launch or you can use the one that will be supplied with it. OH and the only things left to finish are the KB+ and iView parts . Any other questions just ask.

Steve123458 thanks for the cam link, it's now in iView. Sent you back an e-mail. Ix ShanexG. xI To find web cams in your area enter a search like this: Toronto webcams It will bring up many links to sites that host webcams. Here is a site with many Canada webcams: www.theweathernetwork.com/index.php?product=weather_cams&pagecontent=weather_cams&camindex=canada Maybe you recognize some places listed that might be of interst to view? The THEME is more then just a theme it is a feature rich radio player mod.

Hello guys, It's almost time to share this with a few who would like to test every function out for us. We want see how it all works for different people, and some feedback about whats good and whats bad about it. Here are some screenies of the finished product. Main: www.sendspace.com/file/oioprw mLinks: www.sendspace.com/file/3x5ez3 iFind: www.sendspace.com/file/6syide www.sendspace.com/file/q8xpex KB+: www.sendspace.com/file/io1vsl iOffice: www.sendspace.com/file/v6y4gm [i] info: www.sendspace.com/file/fdbr4d Unfortunatly iView will have to be left out, or a wait for several more weeks will have to be. It will be added in the future when time permits. It will be worth the wait .
Steve123458, the KB+ is a heavily modified version of the dvorak keybord. The # pad on the right is for a flash movie player that has a cool function of hiding the controls for the flash movie by sliding the movie over it on the screen. Also if you type a word in the address bar and select the image key it will bring up images of what you typed, or hit the google key and it will google it for you, or hit the Wikipedia key and it will search it for you. Finally you can just type the url address in the bar and hit enter key and it will open that url. Plus if you scroll down on the KB+ while using it it will expose a photo viewer to view pics on your memstick. Also from these 2 portals ifind and Media2.0 we used lots of stuff and ideas. so if you want to check them out that would be great they are both TOP NOTCH portals with some of the best stuff portals offer in them.
Any questions just ask.

You can do this already if the station provides this info. Shoutcast does, so if you press EXT button after launching the station from shoutcast list, you could see in the brackets something like (27/65) or (4888/10000) or whatever. 1st number is how many listeners on the channel and 2nd is maximum allowed. On Elacs mode it it [iList] button.

I don't think that's possible for SHOUTcast streams, because some are of irregular broadcasting time.
And for playlists that's already done in the [EXT] button.

Hey KK just an question if there's an new panel for stream duration does that mean that all the actual radio skins screw up the player?
Because I could try it for my own, but I'd flashed incorrectly some files and... SEMI-BRICK
Could somebody please upload an screenshot of the new player? Thank you and thanks KK for the update.

The duration display is in the playlist menu, when you press [ext], so no it shouldn't affect your skin.

I'm new here and this site rocks. But you could do something like being able to end the text rather than going to the top right everytime? This place still active?

Could we choose to use the keyboard or not because it's annoying to have a new thing open up each time when I've mastered the psp's keyboard. Like could we disable it?

An theme changer, maybe?
Like this:
You have installed (e.g) 5 themes named: Theme 1 files: CustomCSSJS1.pspr animationIMG1.pspr backgroundIMG1.pspr
Theme 2: customCSSJS2.pspr animationIMG2.pspr backgroundIMG2.pspr
And so on (putting an number in front of the file name of each theme).
And, putting an menu were you can change between all of them (and then the radio will refresh itself and load the new skin, using an config file of witch of all themes load).
Idea by chris (I just perfected it with how I think it would be possible, but may not).
What do you'd think KK? We could store up to 10 radio themes and change between them all with an click.
If not possible no problem but I think that would be cool, very cool.
I hope you can do it for the next update.

It wont remember which theme you have selected when you refresh. You can do it via cookies, but they do not work with locally stored files, only with the ones hosted on the net.

But, there isn't another way? Like an text config file or something (like on Custom firmwares that writes prefs to an TXT file or on the mymusic module)?

If you start re-writing files then there is no point in making it as you can rewrite customCSSJS.prpr every time you want to change the theme anyway.

Sorry mate that's not possible because radio don't broadcast lyrics. Most stations broadcast RDS` though. (`Radio Data Service)

You know when you listen to a station on the PSP you see station name on top of psp radio bar, well that's a RDS signal. It's information sent from a station and the psp reads this information and is displayed. clever yes?

Think you could do this, KK?
Put an "Install PRS" PRS. Example: When you go to http://pspradio.co.uk/, the PRS is called "KK's PSP Radio Installer" (filename: KKs_PSP_Radio.prs) (with an different icon of the normal one of course), and then, when you install it, it gives you another PRS (now called "KK's PSP Radio"; this will indicate that you've had installed KK's PSP Radio) (filename same as the other), and it would overwrite the install one.
I know this has no use but it would be cool and you could know if you've had installed it already or not.
I even had did the 2 different PRS's (they're compressed in RAR for convenience):
http://steve123458.webs.com/exclusiv/RADIOPLAYER.rar
I've spent many hours making those icons (mainly converting it to the "compatible" format for the PSP) so please comment.

Yeah, I thought about that, but went with the original system, wanted to keep the amount of files you have to download to minimum, and another PRS would have been just another file. But yeah, it could have been done also the way you described.

hey you should make a optional add-on to load our own mp3s on our memory sticks all you would need to do is change jscss file which would be easy and make another file to load the mp3s which wouldnt be easy but it would be awesome if kk does it i would worship him

You can do it yourselves. Make animated gif the size of the psp screen, save it on MS and bookmark the link, then you can open it when listening. Gifs will however take lots of memory, so for gif big as a screen you will most definitely run out of memory

You can just get an flash game at http://www.PSPONME.com/, download it, save it to your bookmarks, open KK'S PSP Radio, launch the bookmarks page, and open it from there. I know that but if killzone added flash games it would save time(im lazy)

For links you'll can use your bookmarks via the radio.
And for podcasts I don't think they're needed since it's an RADIO player.

Better find an chat room, save it to your bookmarks, and use it on the radio.

I'm pretty good with HTML and CSS and I have my own website. (Not a free one though) I know of this site that reviews free hosting. This is a link. And I have tried a few. I would recommend to use siteadvisor to see if the reviewed websites are safe. Though the code for the chatroom, I would have to find somewhere else.
Edit: We could try using this shoutbox as a chatroom and scale the width to 480. I use this shoutbox for my website, and I say it works pretty good. Here's the link http://www.shoutmix.com/main/

Sorry guys if I don't share your enthusiasm. The shoutbox/chat will needs to be moderated as there are all sorts of users of this radio young and not so young. I just don't have time for it. You guys want to create a chat room, be my guest, you can even post the link on the forums, but I won't be endorsing it.
For anyone else who wants to chat with other forum members there is MSN, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, EU and US Playstation forums, all mobile and available from radio menu.

@kk dude your a genius This is one of the best things ever coded for the psp
My suggestions-
-If there is any way to view history that would be cool -A link to open the radio player in a new tab -A mobile re write of igoogle or my yahoo -And I know that on some psp sites you can change the font color of the text and then click save and it will save your settings to the cache
I dont know if any of this is possible but I think it would be cool
Even if you dont add another thing this radio is awsome

The history of the web pages I have viewed Or the history of the recent stations I have listened to
As for opening the player in the new tab I mostly would use that for the bookmarks button Because when clicked as of now the page covers up the radio To clarify: (bookmarks in new tab)
Btw I have read that the psp can play aac streams Is there a way to stream youtube sound as aac?
(If that is not possible mabey you could make an html rewrite of http://www.rsshandler.com/ It takes a youtube video and converts to a rss channel so you may download the youtube videos of the channel The site works as it is on a psp but a mobile version on here would be cool)

You can open bookmarks in a new window by holding down the X button, after a second or so it will launch new window. I don't really want to duplicate PSP functionality.
Cannot make to display the history as this is security issue in browsers.
Rewrite module is for mobile sites that have links to the audio streaming, so you can launch player directly. You cannot launch video so there is no point in rewriting the site. And I cant make a mobile version it is up to the site owner.
There is only that much you can do on PSP

maybe a button in the bar at the top of the radio (the bar with visualiser) to the next radiostation in the list of mypresets.pspr, so you don't have to go to that list when you're surfing on the internet or reading a post on the forum.
or an option to make play list of your own tracks on the MS. | OrbitalGrooves.com - Worldwide Electronica - irc.orbitalgrooves.com #OrbitalGrooves |

How about a way to store shoutcast searches to recall them easily? Just a way to save and retrieve the search strings instead of having to retype them (maybe show/access saved search strings in My Music)?
Does their search API allow the genre to be specified? Their website allows narrowing the choices by genre.
And a way to organize streams in My Music (folders, etc.)?
I know that shoutcast uses somewhat dynamic URLs for their streams, but is there some identifier that could be saved in My Music when a searched shoutcast stream is saved in My Music, such that its URL could be "refreshed" on command?
Is there a way to get an updated "what's playing" on one stream's URL without canceling the currently playing stream? It would be nice to see what's playing NOW on the streams in My Music without having to select/play them (and search results lists for that matter, since their "what's playing" data goes stale pretty soon after you search).
I've noticed that if I open bookmarks while a stream is playing, and am in the tab with the bookmarked URL when I shut off, the stream automatically restarts when I power back on. But if I'm in the player when I shut off, the stream does not restart automatically. On the other hand, I've also had some problems if I shutdown and start up in another tab, I can't get back to the player without going to the home screen and restarting the player.
Don't get me wrong, this is one incredible application even without the above features!
Andy

Good ideas, but unfortunately I don't have access or documentation for the new APIs, and until I do I can't see me investing in something that could become unavailable tomorrow i.e. their current API. Let's hope this changes

How about pop-up tooltips to remind us what the short-labelled buttons (L, B, ?, [o], Ext) are for when hovering the pointer over them?
When I search Shoutcast for one stream I listen to, it shows 2 results because it's on 2 different ports (high and low bandwidth). is there a way for the port number to be shown (perhaps as a pop-up tooltip like above) to know which one is being chosen when they don't display the port in the station info?
One thing I've looked for but can't be sure there's a need for is a pause or stop button.

Ok, then that drops me back to the middle one, popup tooltip or otherwise visible URL in search results to see what is what when there's multiple ports on a stream.

Stream has always 1 port, playlist can have different streams in it, you can see how many if you press EXT also [M] in front of the station name indicates that there are multiple streams in the playlist.

If the title of a song is too long, can you make it scroll? That would help me out so that i dont constantly have to visit the stations site to view the rest of the song title.

How about audio scrobbler? (I probably spelled it wrong) Also would still like the button to post the #NowPlaying to twitter. I know this would be hard since m.twitter.com doesn't exactly work on psp.

I would like to have a tweet button that would simply tweet the currently playing song to twitter. Possible the ability to customize the tweet... like a t-box with code for info.
<songtitle> <streamurl> <streamtitle> with t-box you type in you custom tweet using the info code you want to use. #NowPlaying <songtitle> from <streamtitle> <streamurl> like a [t] button in the button row that woule send your now playing tweet.

Hmm. I don't know whether this would be useful or just a pain, but maybe a page that allows you to change between themes? Say like selecting a theme from common/themes/Theme1/files.pspr to common/themes/Theme2/files.pspr
Though it's not really a needy thing

There is connection test button in My Music, and no ripping streams is not possible with current radio plug in.

What do you mean by "futuristic iradio"? Would you like it to have WipEout-like skin or something? Also, if no one can EVER think of it, then how its going to be done?
