Okay fellow peers i have some grave news for people who enjoy youtube. It appears that are gonna charge you and me for downloading from their site. ''Big deal'' you may say ''i'll get it for free''.However pspube cannot bring back the video service and anjo.to is clunkec for me. The distressing thing is you can get youtube on pc, but i don't have one. If you have any advice i'll be greatfal to hear. Thank you for you're attention KK dudes! \:\)

There's isn't an way for YouTube on PSP unless you have Custom Firmware, witch is pretty unstable and risky to install but hey the reward for not coward and install it is huge! \:P \:D

I have it.
But back on topic, no there's isn't any other way.

There are only two ways of getting Youtube videos on a PSP, without a PC:

With PSPube (which is having some issues with Youtube), and with PSPTube (and this one is homebrew, so you'll need CF for it to work (and you'll probably would need a PC to install it)).

Lets hope PSPube guys solve everything. ;\)

Ultimate PSPTube isn't risky at all, and it's pretty easy to install, but you do need CFW. ;\)

I said that it's risky in the way that you have to hack your PSP and things may not work and you can brick your PSP.

Its only risky if u dont do enough research. Im runnin 5.00 m33-6 CFW (I know its kinda old, but these new CFWs aren't 2 reliable) but you dont have to flash your psp to run homebrew, try downloadin ChickenHen Mod if your firmware is at 5.03. Check out psp-hacks.com Dats where I figured out how to hack my 2000

the best thing i found 4 youtube is anjo.to
u just copy the url n put it on there site. it just converts n then u can dl it.

\:D there is another way pspube has delays now so go to google and search psp video 9 (need pc for this) download it click the setup button then a screen should pop up asking if you want to download the youtube video downloader say yes then finish the download. when your done you can delete psp video 9. (dont uninstall it will also uninstall youtube video downloader) \:\)

btw, i've never used any of those but, i figured anything had to be better than pspube/vloader.
there's lots of online youtube rip sites. I use http://online-convert.com. I find a vid on http://m.youtube.com I like and put the link in url box on their psp converter and in a minute or 2 i'm dl'n a quality rip. You can even rip to mp3.

oh yeah, i do this w/ flash & java off to keep from getting OOM error. ;\)

Because the PSPTube homebrew is a dedicated FLV player, not a Youtube viewer (it fetches the FLV video directly and decodes it without Flash; SCEA is too "busy" for doing such "gimmicky" things).

They won't because it would steal "money" from their Mylo and highline Sony Ericsson phones that have this feature.

Or... They're a bunch of lazy persons.

www.online-convert.com oops... i posted it wrong now click the link and go to convert video scroll down till u find convert to psp hit go enter youtube or dailymotion url and wait the download will pop up and ask to save, then u download it and watch http://online-convert.com
